Safe Christmas Fairytale :: Safe Christmas Fairytale :: SantaPark Arctic World

Since the very long time ago, Santa Claus Secret Forest - Joulukka has been a safe shelter for Christmas top secrets in the heart of Lapland for both fairytale creatures and its visitors.

The safety of You, your children, other guests, elves, trolls, reindeer, and other forest visitors and creatures is our top priority and we are paying special attention to ensure the maximum of it. We would like to assure you that the magic of Christmas keeps on living and all the essential fairy-tale elements of the experience stay in place. If you would like to know how exactly your chosen program is influenced by these additional safety procedures, please, do not hesitate to contact us – we would be delighted to advise you.

Kindly notice, that the measures listed below are based on the guidance from Finnish Government and the National Health Service, supported by industry specific advice from Visit Finland and MaRa. We are also consulting Lapland Central Hospital for the latest instructions for the area. Due to the constantly changing nature of this guidance and advice, we will be reviewing and immediately updating our internal operating practices and protocols. Information below may therefore change without notice.

Useful information about Covid-19 passport

  • We have introduced the Covid-19 passport for Santa Claus Secret Forest-Joulukka starting from 1st of January 2022.
  • The corona certificates, that are used when entering Finland, can be utilized as Covid-19 passports in the restaurant and event industries.
  • The documents allowed are as follows:
  • proof of a full vaccination series
  • a negative COVID-19 test carried out up to 72 hours prior to arrival
  • laboratory test certified recovery from COVID-19 within the past six months. You will be also asked to present your ID at the moment of Covid-19 passport verification.
  • Please, note, only a reliable certificate can be applied as a Covid-19 passport. Accepted certificate languages are either Finnish or English.
  • Covid passport will be checked prior the experience. For the entry to the program we do not require a test result or any other Covid-related certificate from children under 16 years old. The ID (as in passport, for example) might be requested from kids to prove that they are younger than 16 years old.
  • The certificates must be submitted electronically or on paper. We do recommend you have the document also on paper as the battery of the digital devices might die surprisingly fast in the cold weather conditions.
  • Please always keep the document with you to ensure a smooth access to the restaurant.
